FOREST PRODUCTS
COMMISSION — 2018–19 ANNUAL REPORT
838. Hon DIANE EVERS to the minister representing the
Minister for Forestry:
I
refer to errors in the Forest Products Commission 2018–19 annual report
on log production statistics from crown land and private property; that
is, that ''Sub-total native forest other'' on page 135 has been
corrected in correspondence to a constituent.
(1) Are the
statistics for log production from crown land and private property for 2019–20
now correctly being reported in the FPC's 2019–20 annual
report?
(2) Will the minister please table
the corrected historical statistics; and, if not, why not?
(3) What is the minister now doing
to ensure statistics are correct in reporting?
(4) Given the
errors, will the minister also request the FPC include in its annual report for
three comparative years, as reported in the previous annual reports —
(a) native forest
chip log production;
(b) native forest
fuelwood production; and
(c) sandalwood
production?
(5) If no to (4), why not?
