(1) As announced by the Premier on 2 February 2009, the economic downturn and its serious affect on Western Australia's finances has resulted in a decision to suspend work on the new multi- purpose stadium.
A final decision regarding the development of a new multi-purpose sports stadium has been deferred for two years, including further consideration of an MCG style rebuild of the ground.
(2) Unknown, as detailed design and operational service delivery parameters would be required.
(3) Unclear, as indicative estimates previously completed are now obsolete as a consequence of the deferral decision.
(4) Please refer to response provided in part (2).
(5) - (6) Unknown, as this date will be determined on the final decision and revised commencement date. Refer to response provided in part (1).
(7) Refer to response provided in part (2).
(8) As with any staged construction over this period in an operating venue, construction will present construction risk issues that would need to be managed.
(9) - (10) Unknown, as final detailed design and functional brief would be required in order to confirm level of amenity and finish.
