1324. Hon TJORN SIBMA to the minister representing the
Minister for Planning:
I refer to the draft Swan Valley
Planning Scheme that was published for public comment from 14 October until 14 November
2020.
(1) Has the minister approved the
scheme; and, if yes, on what date?
(2) If no to (1),
will any amendments be made to the scheme that arise from comments received
during the public consultation phase?
(3) If applicable, what specific
amendments will be recommended for her approval?
(4) If the minister has not yet
approved the scheme, when is she likely to do so?

(2)–(3) The public consultation
period recently closed, with submissions now to be considered.
(4) The scheme
will be considered upon successful passage of the Swan Valley Planning Bill
2020 through both houses.
