(a) The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) has received 10 items of related correspondences from two parties, including items sent to DWER as enquiries or ‘ for our information ’, rather than complaint. Local government is responsible for the management of localised flooding and stormwater management.
(b) DWER records correspondence in its correspondences and ministerial tracking systems, consistent with the Department’s Recordkeeping Plan under the State Records Act 2000 and the standards expressed in AS ISO 15489 Records Management. These records are categorised as official, external correspondence linked to a particular property, member of the public, or local government.
