Minister for Defence Industry:
I refer to the USS Emory S. Land .
(1) Has the USS Emory S. Land arrived or is it due to arrive at HMAS Stirling this week?
(2) What is the purpose of its
arrival at HMAS Stirling ?
(3) Is there a scheduled maintenance work exercise
with the USS Emory S. Land ; and, if so, when will this occur?
(4) What will
happen to any radioactive waste material generated during the visit by the USS Emory S. Land at HMAS Stirling and in Western Australian waters?
