TROPICAL AQUACULTURE PARK — SITE 6 LEASE
1015. Hon DARREN WEST to the Attorney General
representing the Minister for Fisheries:
I refer to the minister's
letter of 14 June 2016 to Napier Consulting Services in relation to varying the
lease terms on site 6 of the Broome Tropical Aquaculture Park.
(1) Has the
minister sought legal advice on the means through which he can vary the lease
terms; and, if not, why not?
(2) If yes to (1) —
(a) what was the advice and will the
minister table it; and
(b) has this
advice been communicated to Napier Consulting Services; and, if so, when and in
what form?
(3) If no to (2)(b), why not?

(2) (a) No. The advice is subject to
legal professional privilege.
(b) The
Department of Fisheries provided Napier Consulting Services relevant advice in
a letter dated 28 July 2016.
