I refer to children living in the South West region, and I ask: (a) how many children living in the South West region are in the Chief Executive Officer's (CEO's) care as at 30 June 2015; (b) of the children living in the South West region and places in the CEO's care in 2014-15, how many were able to leave care within six months of entering care and returned to live with their families; (c) how many left care within six months to long term living arrangements with carers; (d) how many remain in the CEO's care; and (e) of those who left care within six months to return to live with their families, how many returned to the CEO's care?

(a) There were 291 children in the care of the Chief Executive Officer of the Department for Child Protection and Family Support in the South West district on 30 June 2015.
(b) During 2014-15, 11 children entered care and were able to return to their families within six months.
(c) During 2014-15 no children who entered care were able to leave care into long term living arrangements with carers within six months.
(d) Of the 291 children in care in the South West district on 30 June 2015 - 283 remain in care.
(e) Of the 11 children who left care to live with their families three children returned to the CEO's care.
