269. Hon ADELE FARINA to the

Having accepted the offer by the Minister for Culture and the

I thank the member for some notice of the question.
(1) Yes. The
Minister for Culture and the Arts also notes that it is his right to request
that questions without notice be put on notice when the amount of information
requested and/or staff time required to collate the information is significant.
(2) The
close-plot probe survey was commissioned by the City of Bunbury and the results
do not constitute a formal report; rather, they are a series of data logs.
These results belong to the City of Bunbury and, pending their approval, if the
member wishes to put this part of the question on notice, the Minister for
Culture and the Arts would be happy to provide the results to the member.
Please be advised that the data logs would have little meaning without
archaeological interpretation. However, this can be provided by Western
Australian Museum experts at the briefing to be arranged. I am advised that the
Minister for Culture and the Arts received the member's request for a
briefing via email on Friday, 13 March 2015. This question was asked on
Tuesday, and a suitable time will be arranged.
