With regard to iron ore mining at Jackson by Portman Mining and its subcontractors, I ask - (1) Have there been any breaches of licence on incursions into the exclusion zone surrounding the mining area that affect the responsibilities of either the Department of Environmental Protection or the Department of Conservation and Land Management? (2) If yes to (1), how many and on what dates did these occur, and what was the nature of the breaches or incursions? (3) If yes to (1), where precisely did these occur? (4) If yes to (1) and (2), what action in response was taken by either the DEP or CALM? Hon KIM CHANCE
