Minister for Fisheries:
I refer to the ''West Coast
Rock Lobster Harvest Strategy and Control Rules — 2014–2019''
and note that it is due for renewal this year.
(1) Has the west
coast rock lobster harvest strategy and control rules for 2019–24 been
completed?
(2) If yes to (1), will the minister
please table a copy; and, if not, why not?
(3) If no to (1), when will the new
strategy be completed and available to the public?
(4) Does the
modelling that the department undertakes to determine the total allowable
commercial catch include consideration of climate change; and, if not, why not?
