I refer to Their Majesties' royal visit to Australia, and I ask: (a) When did the Premier receive notification that Their Majesties would be visiting Australia; (b) When did the Premier receive notification of the itinerary of Their Majesties; (c) Did the Premier approach anyone including the Commonwealth Government or Buckingham Palace to include Western Australia in the royal visit; and (d) Can the Premier confirm that he declined to attend a welcome reception in Canberra on October 21: (i) If yes, what events was the Premier attending that made him unavailable?
