REVOCATION NOTICES
1521. Hon PETER COLLIER to the minister representing the
Minister for Police:
I refer the minister to his response
to question without notice 1433 on Tuesday, 12 November 2024.
(1) Did the Western
Australia Police Force seek legal advice prior to issuing disqualification
orders to gun owners prior to the promulgation of the regulations for the
Firearms Act?
(2) If yes to (1), did that legal
advice confirm that the revocation notices were lawful?
(3) If yes to (1), will the minister
table the legal advice; and, if not, why not?
(4) If no to (1), why not?
