I refer to page 135 of the 2013-2014 State Budget Paper No. 1 , relating to the North West Health Initiative, and I ask: (a) can the Minister please advise the status of the audit of aged care needs across the North West; (b) when is the audit due to be completed; and (c) if the audit has already been completed, will the Minister table a copy of the audit?

As at 5 June 2014 -
(a) A business case for North West Health Initiative (NWHI) is currently being finalised that will determine the funding allocations and scope of works/activities for all NWHI projects, including an audit of aged care needs.
(b) The audit is currently underway and is being conducted in collaboration with the Regional Development Council's Ageing in the Bush project and aims to be complete by the end of 2014.
(c) Not applicable.
