(b) There are no plans to set up tourism precincts in any North West Towns at this stage. (c) The Western Australian Tourism Commission is responsible for administering the funds available under the Tourism Precinct Strategy. Decisions in regards to the suitability of applications will be made by a three person panel involving two representatives from the Western Australian Tourism Commission and one from Tourism Council Western Australia. (d) In keeping with the closing date for the Strategy for Fremantle, an application for the Fremantle Tourism Precinct has been received by the Western Australian Tourism Commission and is being evaluated at the moment. It is envisaged that a result for this application will be made public in April/May and work will commence in May/June. In keeping with the delayed closing date for Northbridge it is envisaged that work on the tourism precinct strategy in this area would commence approximately two months later than that for Fremantle.
