The number of Western Australian Seniors Card holders who have identified themselves as Indigenous is 1 562.
The Seniors Card application form provides an option for applicants to provide non-compulsory demographic information, including whether the applicant is Indigenous. Not all applicants complete that section of the form. As a result the number given probably underestimates the true figure.
