(1) – (7) Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) completed its last Biodiversity Audit in 2015, with the results published online and remaining publicly available. No further audit is scheduled, as the process was resource-intensive and has been replaced by a digitally supported approach. Since 2022, contemporary biodiversity data has been publicly accessible through the State’s biodiversity data repository, Dandjoo. DBCA uses the latest scientific information, knowledge and data available, to inform updates to recovery plans. Ongoing monitoring programs continue as part of DBCA’s core business.
