I refer the Minister to question on notice No. 5691, and I ask —
(1) In relation to Tabled paper attachment 2, will the Minister please list the names of the programs and funding allocation to be funded in 2012-13 and 2013-14 for the —
(a) new science initiatives; and
(b) the Research and Innovation Fund?
(2) In relation to Tabled paper attachment 1, will the Minister please list the names of the programs and funding allocation that was funded in 2010-11 and 2011-12 for the —
(a) Science and Innovation Initiatives Program; and
(b) the Research and Innovation Fund?
(3) In relation to the funding provided to SciTech for 2010/11, as indicated in Tabled paper attachment 1 of $11.116m, what accounts for the $1.5m difference between this figure and the figure cited in the SciTech Annual Report 2010-11, page 33 of $9.6m as State Government funding?

(3) The difference is due to the accounting treatment of grants as per Australian Accounting Standards. Depending on the intended purpose of the grant (i.e. for operational or capital expenditure) the accounting treatment differs.
