(2) If so, how many persons have been referred to SafeCare in the past 12 months, and by what agency? About a week has passed since that date. (1) Yes - the Department of Justice. (2) This information is not centrally collated. In a briefing note received by the Attorney General dated 2 May 2002, it was advised that only two offenders were known to have been referred to SafeCare, as a result of an order from the court or the Parole Board. The Attorney General has been advised that, generally, offenders are self-referred or referred through their families. (3) Yes - the standard conditions of supervision and program requirements applicable to any community service order. (4) No. (5) Yes - Ms Christabel Chamarette, who is a deputy member of the Parole Board.
