I thank the honourable Leader of the Opposition for some notice of this question. (1) The education campaign launched on 22 July 2007 cost approximately $358 000. A further education campaign is being considered for early 2008, for which there is a budget of approximately $360 000. (2) The 2006-07 proposed budget was $744 000, but as the Fair Employment Advocate did not commence until 21 May 2007, a significant proportion was carried over to the 2007-08 financial year. (3) One staff member, who is a career public servant, is allocated to the Fair Employment Advocate. The Fair Employment Advocate is located in the labour relations division of the Department of Consumer and Employment Protection, which provides a range of administrative support.
