(1) The Western Australia Police Service is a member of the Western Australia Police Ethnic Advisory Council (WAPEAC), which also comprises representatives from ethnic communities within the state. WAPEAC is a body responsible for facilitating communication and problem solving between the Police Service and ethnic communities. Furthermore, whilst the Police Service has not established designated District level Ethnic Advisory Councils as such, there is a Multicultural Liaison Officer who operates out of Mirrabooka Police District. (2) The Police Service Multicultural Liaison Officer operates out of Mirrabooka Police District.
