I thank the member for the
question. The member is probably aware that, in a general sense, I have
carriage of this issue in government. Nevertheless, the following information
has been provided to me by the Minister for Tourism.

has advised Tourism Western Australia that it will not provide ticket sales
information to the level of detail requested by the member. Tourism Western Australia
has previously been advised by Jetstar that about 5 000 seats have been sold on
the route to date.
(5) Nil.
(6) Tourism Western
Australia has not assessed the potential economic benefit to Melbourne or
Victoria.
