(1) Jandakot Airport is Commonwealth land and is therefore subject to Commonwealth environmental legislation. Approvals and conditions in relation to environmental matters are dealt with by the Commonwealth Government. The Construction Environmental Management Plan is available for public view on the website of the Jandakot Airport at

(2)-(3) It is my understanding, based on advice from the Department of Environment and Conservation, that the establishment and management of the Jandakot Airport Community Aviation Consultation Group is the responsibility of Jandakot Airport and the Commonwealth Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government. The State Government has no role in this.
