a) The 2003/2004 level of funding from the Government to the Churches Commission on Education Inc. to support school chaplaincy programmes is $350 000.
b) Funding has increased this financial year by an additional $50 000.
c) As is demonstrated in the table below, the total number of chaplains in primary and secondary schools (including district high schools) has increased from 2002 to 2003 (as off November 2003) by 3 chaplains. This represents an increase of 2.8%.
