(1) What is the average shift length for a bus driver?
(2) What is the longest shift a bus driver must work?
(3) Do drivers have rest and meal breaks during shifts, and if yes, how often?
(4) Are breaks always taken in places where toilet facilities are available?
(5) When a location is determined for a bus terminus, is access to toilet or meal facilities a consideration?
(6) Under what circumstances would a bus terminus be established where there is no access to toilet or meal facilities for bus drivers?

The Public Transport Authority advises:
(1) Average shift lengths vary by employee.
(2) A driver may agree to work for up to a 10 hour shift inclusive of breaks
(3) Yes, at least every 5 hours.
(4) Yes for meal breaks and the majority of rest breaks.
(5) Yes
(6) A bus terminus may be established where there is no access to facilities in outer suburban areas. However, toilet and meal facilities are always made available at the other end of the route.
