In relation to the previous Labor Government’s dedicated Ignite funding to His Majesty’s Theatre and the Perth Theatre Trust, I ask:
(a) has the commitment to replace the carpets at His Majesty’s Theatre been fulfilled, and what was the final cost as against the budgeted cost;
(b) has the commitment to replace the audio visual system at His Majesty’s Theatre been fulfilled, and what was the final cost as against the budgeted cost; and
(c) has the commitment for an extra $600,000 to invest in performances been expended; and
(i) if so, on what; and
(ii) if not, why not?

(a) Yes - Budget $200 000, Actual Cost $208 020.
(b) Yes - Budget $450 000, Actual Cost $372 444.
(c) No
(i) $300 000 has been drawn down as at 31-05-2010 and has been used to support the presentation of shows such as London Philharmonic Orchestra and Equus.
(ii) Consideration is currently being given to the investment of the remaining funds.
