LIQUOR CONTROL ACT 1988 — REVIEW

SAVAGE to the Leader of the House representing the Minister for Racing
and Gaming:
I refer to question without notice 448 and the government's
commitment on 29 March 2012 to undertake a major consultative review of the
Liquor Control Act 1988, and the Minister for Racing and Gaming's proposal
to establish the review towards the end of this year.
(1) Is the government still committed to the review?
(2) If yes to
(1), when will the minister be announcing the commencement of the review, its
terms of reference and operation?
(3) If no to (1), why not?
