I refer the Minister to the response to Question on Notice 4497 and the 2.16km of new Principal Shared Path (PSP) to connect the existing PSP between Glendalough Station and Hutton Street, and ask: (a) Has a business case been completed; (b) If yes, will the Minister table this business case; (c) When was a tender announced for this work; (d) If yes to (c) how many tenderers were there; (e) If no to (c) why not; (f) Which company was awarded the contract for this work; and (g) When will work commence on this PSP and what is the anticipated timeframe of this work?

(a)-(c) The PSP work has been incorporated as part of the Mitchell Freeway Southbound Widening (Cedric to Vincent) project. The Expression of Interest (EOI) was advertised on 7 July 2017 and the Request for Proposal (RFP) on 30 October 2017.
(d) Three EOIs were received and two participated/tendered for the RFP.
(e) Not applicable
(f) The contract was awarded to BMD Constructions on 13 June 2018.
(g) Construction works are currently underway.
