I refer to the new home on the Armadale hospital site for the five men being relocated from Whitby Falls hostel. (1) How many bedrooms and how many bathrooms are in the home? (2) What is the estimated final cost of the home, including site works, construction and fit-out? (3) What was the budgeted cost of the home, including site works, construction and fit-out? I thank the member for notice of the question. The Department of Housing and Works advises - (1) The newly constructed residence at Lot 4110 Wahroonga Road, Mount Nasura, comprises six bedrooms. One bedroom is a dedicated staffroom fitted with an ensuite bathroom. There are two resident bathrooms and two additional toilets. (2) The estimated final cost is $826 000. This figure is inclusive of reverse-cycle air conditioning. Furniture fit-out is being undertaken separately by the Department of Health. (3) The budgeted cost of the house, inclusive of nominal site works, air conditioning, landscaping and extra items conducive to the improved amenity of the dwelling was $640 000. Furniture fit-out was not allowed for in the initial estimate. (4) Approximately $200 000.
