DRIVERS’ LICENCES - CONFISCATION BY LICENSED PREMISES
I ask this question on behalf of Hon George Cash, who is undertaking a very important function for members and the house. (1) Were any expired drivers’ licences confiscated by persons acting on behalf of the management of the Aberdeen Hotel, Aberdeen Street, Northbridge, on Friday, 14 September 2007? (2) If so, how many were confiscated and what records were kept by the Aberdeen Hotel relating to such confiscation? (3) On what date were the confiscated licences handed to the police? (4) Was a receipt issued by the police; and, if so, will the minister table a copy of the relevant document? Hon JON FORD
