I thank the member for some notice of this question. This response is valid as at 12 September 2006. (1) There are four vacant positions. Two positions expired on 27 August 2006 and two positions expired on 8 September 2006. Two members will be reappointed, subject to cabinet endorsement. One school sector nominee has been submitted to me and is also awaiting cabinet endorsement. Recommendations for the fourth vacancy are before me for consideration. (2) The Department of Education and Training has convened a small working group to investigate options for the future use of the former AIUS campus at Joondalup.
