884. Hon Nick Goiran to
the parliamentary secretary representing the Attorney General:
I refer to the
information provided during the budget estimates hearing on 25 August 2025 into
the Department of Justice that the government remains intent to establish a
judicial commission and that the necessary legislation is being progressed as a
priority.
(1) Is the Attorney General aware of the number of
judicial complaints made during the last financial year?
(2) If yes to (1), what were the number of
complaints in each jurisdiction?
(3) If no to (1), will the Attorney General commit
to asking each head of jurisdiction and providing the information to Parliament
in these October sittings?

they are dealt with in accordance with the Protocol
for Complaints Against Judicial Officers In Western Australian Courts .
