KALUMBURU COMMUNITY —
SWIMMING POOL
692. Mr
P.J. RUNDLE to the Premier:
I have a supplementary question.
Mr D.J. Kelly interjected.
The SPEAKER : Minister for
Water, I call you to order for the first time.
Mr P.J. RUNDLE : Can the
Premier confirm whether this is another example of his decision-making process
and he is changing his previous mantra of ''cut first, consult later''
to ''spend first, consult later''?
Mr P.C. Tinley interjected.
The SPEAKER : Minister!

Honestly, that is a silly
supplementary question—another one. I just heard the minister interject
that there has not been a cut and we are delivering our election commitment to
that community. The member comes in here and reads out whatever some staffer
has written for him without knowing or understanding what he is talking about.
I said in my original answer that I am not fully briefed on the issue. If the
member wants to put the question on notice, perhaps he can do that. Rather than
standing up and asking a silly supplementary question, perhaps he should have
sat there and shown a little bit of grace.
