STATE BUDGET 2021–22 — RED-TAPE REDUCTION
TEAM
417. Hon TJORN SIBMA to the Leader of the House representing
the Premier:
I
refer to the Premier's media statement of 21 July, ''Red-tape
reduction team part of $120m investment for WA projects.''
(1) Can the Premier please provide a table that
provides detail of how the $120 million will be invested across the
forward estimates in the following agencies: Department of Planning, Lands and
Heritage; Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety; Department of
Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions; Department of Jobs, Tourism,
Science and Innovation; and Department of Water and Environmental Regulation;
and how many of the additional 150 staff will be recruited by each agency and
by when?
(2) Broadly speaking, noting
endemic skills shortages, from where are these staff likely to be recruited?
