The following information has been provided by the Minister for Commerce.
(1)–(2) Yes.
(3) The Gas
Supply (Gas Quality Specifications) Act 2009 is administered by Energy Policy
WA, for which the Minister for Energy is the responsible minister. As such,
this part of the member's question should be referred to the minister
representing the Minister for Energy.
(4) The review of
the WA Business Names (Commonwealth Powers) Act 2012 commenced in 2017. The
final report from the review was tabled in Parliament on 8 May 2018. The review
of the WA Petroleum Retailers Rights and Liabilities Act 1982 was due to
commence in 2005 but was deferred due to pending regulatory changes by the
commonwealth. A review has been undertaken during 2020 and a final report is
currently being prepared.
