BUNBURY
PORT — LOWER PRESTON RIVER — REALIGNMENT
849. Hon ADELE FARINA to the
parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the $1.5 million in
funding granted to the Bunbury port in 2012 and the $1.5 million of Bunbury
port internal funds approved to go towards the environmental study and
engineering design phase of the realignment of the lower Preston River.
(1) What is the current status of
the environmental study?
(2) If it is not yet completed, what
is the expected completion date?
(3) If the environment study is
completed, will the minister table it?
(4) What is the current status of
the engineering design phase?
(5) If the engineering design phase
is not yet completed, what is the expected completion date?
(6) The ''Bunbury
Port Authority 2013 Annual Report'' states that final engineering design
was expected to be completed in mid to late 2015. If it is not completed, what
are the reasons for the delay in completing the final engineering design?
(7) If the
engineering design phase is completed, will the minister table the report and
design drawings?
