I refer to the
parliamentary secretary's answer of 9 September 2025 regarding the feasibility
study on an alternative alignment for the stalled Lloyd Street Bridge project.
(1) Can the minister please
provide details of the level of consultation between Main Roads WA and
traditional owners and the City of Swan this year on coming to an agreement on
a design solution based on the original alignment?
(2) What powers does the minister have to resolve
this impasse should these parties fail to come to a mutually acceptable
agreement based on the original alignment?

been ongoing. The traditional owners have been proactive in working with Main
Roads to address the heritage issues related to the project.
(2) Main Roads is committed to reaching a final
design in the near future.
