(1) Yes. Expressions of interest to obtain the necessary clearances to develop a caravan park were advertised from 27 March to 23 April 1999 in The West Australian . Four submissions were received and assessed by a panel on 4 June 1999, after which two were selected. The applicants, Mr and Mrs T. Johnson, trading as TA & NC Johnson ATF - the Jenta Trading Trust - were advised of their selection on 26 July 1999. As a result of an inability to comply with development conditions, the Johnsons were informed that DOLA was withdrawing its offer on 16 August 2000. Investigations and a report were submitted to the Shire of Gingin for an alternative site within reserve 31684 on 25 August 2000. DOLA has been progressing the proposed caravan park and is currently processing native title issues. The site has been surveyed and necessary clearances are being obtained. (2) Yes. (3) Yes. Ledge Point lot 742, with an area of 4.1379 hectares, has been surveyed out of Ledge Point lot 381, being reserve 31684.
