I refer to the pre-birth safety plans prepared in cases in
which an unborn baby is at risk of being harmed by its parents after birth. How
many babies have been involved in pre-birth plans in 2013–14 to date;
and, of those, how many babies required a subsequent protection application?

A total of 183 children were subject to pre-birth planning
from l July 2013 until 19 February 2014. Of these, 24 children were then
subject to a protection application being lodged in the ChildrenXXX ###XXXs
Court of Western Australia.
