I am advised by the Department of Education Services for non-government schools as follows:
(1)(a) The data for non-government schools is provided annually in the Department of Education Services' Annual Reports.
(1)(b)-(c) The data for non-government schools is not available as the information is not centrally collated.
(2)(a)-(d) The data for non-government schools is not available as the information is not centrally collated.
I am advised by the Department of Education for public schools as follows:
(1) The enrolments are based on August school census data, and the attendance data are based on whole of Semester 1 data. Absences are counted as half-days, categorised as Authorised or Unauthorised. The number of unauthorised half-day absences is reported, and the average number of half-days per enrolled student.
Data are provided in relation to current schools, with historical data provided where possible.
(2) [see tabled paper no.]. In relation to suspension data, the privacy of students has been carefully considered and the reporting of small numbers has been suppressed where their publication could result in the identification of individual students.
