All other Department assets are valued under Australian Accounts Standards 10 (AAS10) 4) The Department is reviewing the judgement of certainty associated with the value to be assigned to its Intellectual Property. Certainty of the future economic benefit is a fundamental requirement of the Australian Accounting Standards. 5) The Department indicated in its 2001-02 Annual Report that it expected to measure the capital value of its Intellectual Property and to disclose the estimated value in the 2002-03 Annual Report. 6) Refer question 4) and 5). 7) No 8) The Intellectual Property register contains information on approximately 1200 sets of documents.
