I deliver this
answer on behalf of the parliamentary secretary representing the Premier on
public sector management, and I thank the honourable member for notice of the
question.
(1) The definition of ''senior
officer'' for the purposes of public sector annual reporting is provided
under the heading ''Guidelines'' in Treasurer's
Instruction 903, ''Agency Annual Reports''.
(2) Because the term ''senior officer''
is a generalised term, which is necessary to cover many different circumstances
in differing types of agencies, details of the number of senior officers in the
Western Australian public sector is provided in each agency's annual
report for the respective years requested.
