I thank the member for some notice of this question. The Minister for Police and Emergency Services provides the following response - (1) The Police Service advises that in 2003, Clarkson police executed three operations on the Quinns Rocks beach car park to specifically address recent antisocial behaviour in that area. (2) The Police Service advises that in 2003-04, 193 infringements were issued to motorists within the Clarkson police subdistrict, which includes Quinns Rocks, Butler, Clarkson, Jindalee, Merriwa, Mindarie, Nowergup, Ridgewood and Tamala Park. I note that we have some days to go for this financial year. (3) The police will apply all available legislation to address identified illegal behaviour. (4) The Police Service advises that since operations were carried out in 2003, there has been limited information from the community to suggest that antisocial behaviour is continuing. I am assured by police that they will act on any further information that demonstrates that antisocial behaviour is a problem again.
