1332. Hon Dr STEVE THOMAS to the minister representing the
Minister for State and Industry Development, Jobs and Trade:
I thank the parliamentary secretary for that gold-standard
transparency!
I refer to the $287 000 taxpayer-funded Ad Astra Consultants
report to government canvassing options in relation to the insolvent and
foreign-owned Griffin Coal.
(1) When did
the government receive the Ad Astra Consultants report and who or whom received
it?
(2) What were
the five recommendations or solution scenarios canvassed in the report and has
government endorsed any of the recommendations or proposals in the report?
(3) What criteria has the government applied to value
for money in the commissioning and delivery of the report?
(4) Will the
government table the report to the house; and, if not, why not?
