(1) No. (2) The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions does not generally impose charges, fines or fees and very few payments are made to it. It has no regular source of income in the form of payments by business or the community. The Office of the DPP does occasionally raise invoices for the provision of copies of transcript or other materials from prosecution files. (3) For the relatively few invoices issued as outlined in (2) above, electronic payment is available and encouraged. Due to a lack of demand, there are no short term plans for introducing on-line payment through the DPP website. ELECTORAL COMMISSION (1) No. (2) Non-voting penalties, election cost recoups and minor sundry revenue. Web site arrangements have not been established as the number of payments received is relatively small. (3) Election cost recoups may be paid electronically by EFT method only by arrangement with the Commission. No arrangements are currently in hand to provide for Internet payments. EQUAL OPPORTUNITY COMMISSION (1) The Commissioner for Equal Opportunity’s existing web site does not allow for the on-line payment of fees relating to the delivery of training courses. (2) The range of training courses offered by the Commissioner, on her web site, to employers, service providers and the general public does not provide a facility for participants to pay training fees on-line. The majority of the Commissioner’s clients prefer to make payment via cheque or electronic funds transfer (EFT) and there have been few requests for on-line payment facilities. (3) The Commissioner is currently investigating the option of providing on-line payment facilities via ‘WA FastPay’, which is operated by the Department of Treasury and Finance. LEGAL AID WA (1) No. (2) Payments unable to be made on-line are client contributions on grants of aid, legal advice fees and duty lawyer fees. There is currently minimal benefit in enabling on-line payment of fees. (3) There are currently no actions to enable on-line payment of fees. OFFICE OF THE INFORMATION COMMISSIONER (1) - (3) This Office does not receive any payments of the kind referred to. DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH (1) No. (2) Poisons licences Pest Control Licences Liquid Waste Licences Radiation Licences & Fees Landfill Levy Pollution Prevention Licensing Private Hospital Licences Private Psychiatric Hostel licences Reproductive Technology Licence fees Septic Tank Licence fees Environmental Registration fees Revenue raised from licences etc., as mentioned above plus other charges invoiced, represents less than one percent of the total budget expended. (3) Any decision to provide on-line payment services is supported by Business Case analysis, including consideration of the costs of implementing and maintaining the business change and the supporting information systems. The opportunities for offering this service are being kept under review. HEALTHWAY (1) Healthway does not raise funds from fees and charges. (2) Not applicable. (3) Not applicable. OFFICE OF HEALTH REVIEW (1) No. There are no fees or charges associated with the services provided by the Office of Health Review. (2) Not applicable. (3) Not applicable.
