Groundwater extraction—Bottled water
290. Hon Michelle Hofmann to the Leader of the
House representing the Minister for Water:
I refer to comments
made by the minister in May 2024 that decades-old arrangements allowing
millions of litres of groundwater to be extracted for sale as bottled water
free of charge should be reviewed.
(1) What steps have been taken to review the
arrangement?
(2) Who undertook the
review?
(3) What was the outcome of the review?
