I refer the Minister to the Government’s commitment to building a sealed road from Tom Price to Karratha in this term of Government and ask -
(1) Is it possible to construct a two lane sealed road with appropriate bridges and culverts to ensure all-weather capacity for the promised $100m?
(2) If not, how much will it cost?

(1 & 2) The Government's promise was to commit $100m towards the provision of a sealed road between Karratha and Tom Price. This sum will not construct the road as described by the member. The Government is currently looking at alternative alignments and will be in a position to provide final costings when that work is done.
