(2) Mitchell Freeway currently commences at the Narrows Interchange and ends at Hodges Drive, Joondalup and is proclaimed as a State ‘Highway’ under the provisions of the Main Roads Act 1930. Some sections of the Mitchell Freeway have yet to be formally dedicated as ‘road’ and are awaiting resolution of outstanding issues associated with road closures, easement and remnant portions of land on old titles. This process is continuing and has no impact on the Freeway’s proclaimed status.
