Firearms regulations—Air rifle programs
124. Mr Shane Love to the Minister for Police:
I have a
supplementary question. Can the minister advise the house as to how the loss of
supervised air rifle shooting programs at PCYCs really contributes to community
safety in Western Australia?

AnswerView source ↗

I think the points I
made earlier are pretty self-apparent in terms of the legislation making Western
Australia safer. Not all PCYCs have this offering and those that do are able to
make their own decisions in terms of how they operate under the law.
The Speaker: Thank you, members. That concludes
question time.
