COMMUNITY SUPPORTED RESIDENTIAL UNITS
(1) Will the minister confirm that alternative sites are being sought for the Kalamunda and Armadale community supported residential units for people with mental illnesses? (2) If yes, will the minister use this opportunity to reconsider the model for these two CSRUs and ensure that no more than eight people are located on any one site? (3) Can the minister deny that the CSRUs will be the long-term home of the people who are to live in them and that the non-government operator will encourage and support residents to make choices similar to those each of us make in our own homes? (4) Is it true that residents in some CSRUs will be banned from smoking in their outdoor garden areas while others will be able to smoke in their outdoor garden areas, depending on whether the land on which the CSRU is constructed is vested in the Minister for Health or the Minister for Housing and Works? (5) Have any of the CSRUs built on hospital sites been excised from those sites yet; and, if not, why not? (6) In which minister will the land be vested once it is excised from the hospital site? Hon SUE ELLERY
