I have asked the Member for Wanneroo to examine the development of the 'Interested Person's Register', used as a source of membership for government boards and committees, to ensure that the register truly reflects a cross section of the broad community and allows us to take full advantage of the skills and knowledge available. The Member will also look at method of selection to boards and committees. (d) Resources to assist the Member will be provided by Ministry of Premier and Cabinet. (e) It is expected that a draft report will be ready by the end of August.
